Wilton Road

Wilton Road is an integrated housing initiative, which:

• looks at innovative procurement methods
• uses construction systems with greater pre-fabrication off site
• minimises tenants' running costs and maximises environmental sustainability.

Particular emphasis has been placed on improved fabric insulation, improved air-tightness of construction and economical water usage.

Rhys Owen Chartered Architects, designed the Wilton Road scheme on behalf of Catalyst Communities HA, have published further information on the scheme on their web site.

September 1999

The steel frame is erected.
