Major regeneration project: Wornington Green
We are working closely with residents of the Wornington Green estate in North Kensington to involve them in a major regeneration project, which will provide hundreds of new, improved homes and vastly improve the local neighbourhood. We hope to start building work on phase one of the redevelopment – which includes 324 of the total 919 new homes – in October 2010. 174 of these homes will be for rent and 150 for sale. You can find out more on the Wornington Green website.
Youth mentoring service: Pathways to Progress
Pathways2Progress (P2P) provides tailored support to 13 -19 year olds living in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Our popular mentoring scheme has been helping hundreds of children and young people to find new interests, develop their talents, and fulfil their potential. We have developed a pool of mentors (adult volunteers) to engage young people who are experiencing social exclusion, and/or at-risk of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Visit the P2P Facebook profile page where you can build relationships friendships, share information, send out P2P contact details and gain insight from current users.
You will find the P2P Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pathways2progress
