A new project called g15 London moves is making it easier for London residents to move around the city, while keeping similar terms to their current tenancy.

London housing associations in the g15 group have developed this scheme together. It is open to any tenants who need to move for work reasons, or who want to move to a smaller home.

To register for the scheme you need to be in one of the following four groups:

• Unemployed with a firm job offer in writing
• In full-time education or training linked to a full time job offer in writing
• In work, but finding that the distance from you home to work is making it hard to keep your job
• Considering moving to a smaller home with fewer bedrooms

You’ll also need to have:

• been a secure or assured tenant for at least a year
• a good rental payment record
• kept your home in good condition
• had no reports of anti-social behaviour in the last 12 months about anyone in your household
