Our vision
Meeting a wide range of needs within finite resources provides challenges that require skill and commitment to overcome. Our experienced staff are able to meet the demands of more intensive nursing and complex care, especially to a younger age group.
Looking after patients with a tracheostomy or a severe disability demands skill and knowledge. Encouraging patients with a terminal illness to live life to the full, with the help of their families and friends, needs empathy and compassion. Managing a person with dementia and their often exhausted families requires a listening ear and professional support.
Our vision is that for all patients and their families, we recognise their personal hopes and expectations.
Our commitment
We are committed to the comfort and well-being of our patients. We make no compromises when it comes to treating patients with the utmost dignity, respect and kindness. Acton Care Centre is a comfortable, bright and clean place for patients to stay.
Accountability
We adhere to the highest standards to ensure that our patients are safe and comfortable. We take accountability seriously, accepting as a privilege our responsibility to care for vulnerable people. We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The latest report from CQC stated:
‘People told us staff treated them with respect’, and ‘Staff understood the importance of treating people in a dignified way and preserving their privacy.’

Running the centre
The Acton Care Centre is run by Vintage Care Limited.
Vintage Care Limited is a not-for-profit business overseen by a voluntary board, including Chairman John Foxall and four unpaid directors. We are a subsidiary of Catalyst Housing Limited.
