Activities

We employ a Patient Programme Co-ordinator who takes group and one-to-one sessions. Patients are also able to access a range of leisure activities such as books, games, radio and TV.

We love to celebrate important cultural and personal events with our patients and their families and our events calendar is rarely empty. 

The Acton War Memorial, which is such an important site for the local community, is still situated at the Centre. It is a focal point for people to remember those from Acton who gave their lives in conflicts past and present. A ceremony is held at the Memorial on the Sunday before Remembrance Sunday – and everyone is welcome.

Hairdressing

To help patients feel better about themselves we have an impressive hairdressing salon in the centre, which provides hairdressing and beautician services once a week.

Reflexology

We provide our patients with a reflexology service once a week.

Newsletter

Our regular newsletter keeps patients and their families up-to-date with all the latest news and events at the Acton Care Centre.

Family Matters meetings

We regularly meet the families of our patients to update them on the progress of the patient. Here families have the opportunity to speak to us about any issues they may have and our staff are on hand to answer questions.

Visitors

We encourage visitors to the centre so they can visit their relatives or attend some of the events we are holding. Visiting hours are from 10am to 7pm every day of the week. If you need to visit outside of these hours, please contact us.
