Rooms

Acton Care Centre comprises 124 fully-furnished, en-suite rooms. We want all our patients to feel at home, and try our best to accommodate any additional small furniture and other effects they want to bring along. The under-floor heating ensures that an ambient temperature is constant at all times and patients have total control over the temperature in their own rooms. Every bedroom is equipped with non-intrusive lighting and we’ll arrange more lighting if the patient asks, There are telephone points in all bedrooms so patients can arrange to have a telephone put in. Laundry is taken care of for all patients. Household linen is laundered commercially and we also provide a personal clothing laundry service.

Catering

Our kitchen has a gleaming five star rating. Our wonderful catering team looks after every patient’s dietary needs and any special food requests, making sure they love the meals they’re served. Food is served in our restaurant-style dining rooms or, if patients prefer, in their own rooms.

Gardens

Our gardens are a lovely place to relax in the sunshine. When the weather allows we encourage patients and their families to make the most of the fresh air. In 2011 The Passmore Edwards Centenary memorial garden was created at the entrance of Acton Care Centre.
