Latest news on South Kilburn

Get up-to-date information about the regeneration of South Kilburn (Brent).

We have been chosen by Brent Council to deliver the next phase of the regeneration of South Kilburn. We’ll be working with Willmott Dixon, our construction partner, to make sure the project goes smoothly and to plan. We’ll keep you up-to-date about the building work taking place on the Phase 1B sites (Ely Court, Hicks Bolton House, Cambridge Court, Wells Court, Ely Court, Bond House, and Wood House).

We will create 208 new homes:

  • 122 new homes will be made available to existing residents
  • 86 will be for outright sale

We expect the new homes to be ready towards the middle of 2014.

We’ll be running monthly drop-in surgeries on the estate (see below). Our community regeneration adviser will be on hand to show residents the plans for their new homes and talk about the design and home choices they can make as the development work progresses.

Neighbourhood management

Your neighbourhood manager will be Karen Platt. She will be supported by our experienced Customer Services team and other key staff at our head office. Find out more about how to contact us.

Supporting the community

As well as building new homes, regeneration is about working with residents to bring about real change to their neighbourhood. Working with our community development team, Catalyst Gateway, we’ll create training and employment opportunities for local residents.

Keeping in touch

We’ll be working closely with everyone affected by the works. Our aim is to make sure that disruption is kept to a minimum and that the health and safety of residents is always protected.

We plan to attend residents’ meetings and send out regular newsletters explaining what we’re doing. We’ll also be running consultation events and forums to enable residents and the local community to discuss issues such as access and parking.

Drop-in surgeries

We will be running monthly drop-in surgeries on the estate on the first Monday of each month. Come to the Willmott Dixon office, 2 Peel Precinct.
