Dee Park, Reading
Transforming a 40-year old estate into a dynamic new neighbourhood
Dee Park, Reading
The Dee Park Partnership is a joint venture between Catalyst Housing and Willmott Dixon, working closely with Reading Borough Council and local residents to regenerate Dee Park estate in Reading.
Many of the existing 1960s buildings do not meet current housing standards. They will be replaced with high quality family homes built around a new estate layout that will be environmentally friendly for pedestrians and cyclists.
Plans for the scheme include 763 new homes (of which 281 will be affordable), 482 for sale and a new extra care facility. When complete, there will be a new community hub, an exemplar two-form entry primary school and retail facilities.
We have worked closely with the community at every stage of this development and will continue to do so beyond the life of the nine year project.
