This section takes a closer look at some of our community projects. By focusing on our residents' experiences we hope to reflect just how well we are working to improve lives and neighbourhoods.

Having a job can make a huge difference to how our residents feel about themselves and their community. As well as bringing in a wage, gainful employment also helps people develop their skills, live independently, and make a positive contribution to society. We work with a wide range of residents – including the long-term unemployed, lone parents, and ex-offenders – to help them find rewarding careers. Read more .....

Our young residents play a really important part in their community. We believe that we have a responsibility to help them develop into positive, upstanding citizens. Our Group members run or support a multitude of projects to help children and young people to tap into new interests, develop their talents, or simply celebrate their youth. Read more .....

We know that some of our older residents may face difficulties, such as health or mobility problems, which can lead to loneliness or depression. We fund a range of projects to support our senior residents, many of whom live alone, helping them to take full advantage of all that their community has to offer them. Read more .....

As well as providing direct support, the Group provides small grants for local specialist community groups who also work with our residents. We do this through our charitable trusts and community funds, which provide financial support to successful applicants. Our funds help these invaluable organisations – and our residents – to flourish. Read more .....

Summer In Da City is an energetic, vibrant and diverse programme of activities, that offers alternatives for young people during the long summer holidays.
