About Homebuy
HomeBuy is a government-funded initiative that provides assistance to eligible people to buy a home of their own through a number of different options. The initiative also offers intermediate rented accommodation for eligible individuals.
Why is this assistance needed?
Our experience in providing home ownership solutions has identified many different reasons why people want to get on to the property ladder. However, buying a home is not always possible and the reason for this is nearly always the same. Many aspiring home owners are unable to raise the necessary finance to purchase their desired property. The Homebuy intiative is designed to help these people.

HomeBuy Agents
The government has appointed a number of Agents across England to administer the initiative.
These Agents are professional ‘non-profit’ focused organisations that the Government has identified as specialists in the area of providing housing solutions.
Catalyst Housing Group has been a government appointed agent for affordable home ownership initiatives since 2001. Presently we are the appointed HomeBuy Agent for Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our role is to register your interest, assess your eligibility and
provide details of current schemes in the region.
