About Catalyst Communities

Catalyst Communities HA provides homes for rent, shared ownership homes, sheltered schemes and supported housing in outer-west London, with regional operations in Oxford and Reading. Formerly known as Ealing Family HA, the association was established in 1965.

With more than 11,000 homes, Catalyst Communities is the largest member of Catalyst Housing Group, and is actively involved in several major regeneration projects which it supports with wide-ranging community development.

Catalyst Communities also provides leasehold management services to shared owners and other leaseholders.

Our area of operation

Catalyst Communities works in west London and the Thames Valley. We maintain our local focus and commitment through community development work, employment and training initiatives, resident participation and a network of local offices.

Catalyst Communities is governed by a voluntary Board of Management, chaired by Jane Carlton Smith. Day-to-day operations are carried out by a team of staff led by Managing Director John Foxall.
