Catering

Food is an enjoyable part of life; therefore it’s an important component of the care provided by Acton Care Centre. The Catering Department aims to offer a restaurant style service to our patients, including foods that provide balance and meet a variety of dietary needs. Room service is also available.

Mobile Library

The mobile library, which is operated by Ealing Library Services, comes to the home every two weeks.

Gardens and car parking

Our ample parking facilities include spaces for the disabled. The gardens provide areas where patients and their families may sit in fine weather in a pleasant environment. Summer activities, weather permitting, are held in the garden.

Laundry

Laundry services are included within the accommodation fees. Personal clothing is laundered on site. Household linen is laundered commercially.

Spiritual needs and church services

Acton Care Centre respects the various religious faiths and beliefs practised by each individual patient. Celebrations of specific festivals are encouraged and can be arranged. Every effort will be made to arrange visits by religious leaders or laity.

Transport

Patients and visitors can access local taxis and Dial-A-Ride.
