Local Boards

Our local boards are there to ensure that we understand our customers’ needs and aspirations. They were set up after we became one company, Catalyst Housing, to help us improve our services and give more choice to our customers.

West London local board

The West London local board covers all our tenants and leaseholders in London, except those in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Brent and Spelthorne. This local board now includes former Kensington Housing Trust tenants in Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster. Paul Evans is chair of the West London local board.

Paul will be overseeing the services we provide for residents in West London and will strive to improve them. ‘People want us to get things right, fix them when they go wrong, and do it well’, he says. Paul is committed to ensuring that the creation of local boards will improve services for local people.’

Kensington and Chelsea local board

The Kensington and Chelsea local board covers tenants and leaseholders in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Ian Williams is chair of the Kensington and Chelsea local board.

Ian firmly believes that Catalyst becoming one company with local boards, will help us to improve housing services to our customers. ‘The local boards will have the voice to say what needs to change and the power to ensure that what is agreed gets done.’

Brent local board

The Brent local board covers tenants and leaseholders in borough of Brent. Chris O’Leary is chair of the Brent local board.

Chris wants to develop a two-way dialogue with customers, so we can continue to improve and deliver what’s right for local people.‘We want to take the organisation forward so we can continue to provide better homes and better services for local people.’

South East Local Board

The South East local board covers all tenants and leaseholders outside of London, with the exception of those in Spelthorne. Asit Acharya is chair of the South East local board.

Asit believes the local boards will be key to improving local services. ‘We will look at local priorities for services and improvements to your homes, then try and ensure that the limited resources we have are spent wisely and fairly.’

Catalyst leadership team

The leadership team act as executives within the authority delegated by the Board. This includes detailed scrutiny of performance, the development of policy and procedures and expenditure approvals within budget.
