Heide Baumann has led teams in 17 countries in media, IT and telecoms organisations; most recently British Telecom and cable operator Liberty Global.
She has a significant track record in delivering large-scale transformational change, as operational leader and in strategic roles. A digital expert since the early 1990s, she’s worked in Silicon Valley, advised Europe’s largest publishers and edited a high profile book. Digital also forms part of her current executive portfolio as Vice President Customer Transformation.
Heide is a Council Member of the leading non-US think tank, Chatham House – The Royal Institute of International Affairs and a Board Member of the German British Forum. She holds the Financial Times Non-Executive Director’s Diploma and a Masters in (multi) media from the Royal College of Art, London / ENSCI Les Ateliers, Paris and Technische Universität, Berlin.
