About us
Catalyst Housing Group provides more than 16,000 affordable homes in London and the South East. We help people into homes they treasure and communities they can thrive in
What we do
Catalyst Housing Group was named Affordable Housing Provider of the Year in 2009. We are a not-for-profit social housing agency, made up of housing associations in London and the South East. Together we deliver a comprehensive range of properties and services. We:
- provide low-cost homes to rent, encouraging vibrant communities around them
- offer home ownership to those who may not otherwise be able to get onto the property ladder
- generate large scale regeneration of neighbourhoods, working closely with residents
- build desirable, affordable new properties
- give young people opportunities to get ahead and stay away from crime
- run schemes that help individuals onto new career paths
- bring sheltered and special needs housing to those who need it
- supply key workers with accommodation

How we work
We strive for:
- Integrity Fairness is fundamental. We’re constantly working in partnership with others – local authorities, developers, community organisations. They must be able to trust us to act honestly and with integrity.
- Inclusion We believe that for communities and workplaces to be successful, they must be accessible to all.
- Opportunity In the communities we work with, we want to give individuals life-improving opportunities. Affordable housing is a springboard not a safety net. Part of our job is to create opportunities for people to help themselves.
- Quality Our continued success is dependent on the number and quality of the homes that we build and the way we manage them.
